Ingredients
- 1 pack instant ramen noodles (preferably beef flavor)
- ⅓ cup ground beef (or a few thin slices of beef)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ½ tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- ½ tbsp Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- ½ tsp sesame oil
- ¼ cup water
Directions
- In a small pan, brown the ground beef with garlic and ginger over medium heat (2–3 minutes).
- Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, gochujang, sesame oil, and water. Let it simmer for 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
- In a separate pot, boil the ramen noodles per package instructions (don’t overcook—go slightly firm). Drain.
- Add cooked noodles to the beef mixture. Toss well to coat.
- Plate it up. Sprinkle green onions and sesame seeds. Add your egg or kimchi if you’re feeling fancy.
