By using our services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

The information we collect depends on how you interact with Project Ramen.

A. Website and device information

When you visit our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect information about your device and your interaction with the website.

This may include:

• IP address;
• browser type and version;
• device information;
• time zone and approximate location derived from technical information;
• cookie and similar technology information;
• pages, products, or content viewed;
• search activity;
• referring pages or websites;
• interactions with our website; and
• information used to maintain, secure, analyze, and improve the website.

We use this information to operate the website, provide functionality, understand website usage, improve our services, prevent fraud and abuse, and support advertising and marketing where permitted.

B. Order and transaction information

When you make or attempt to make a purchase, we may collect information such as:

• name;
• billing address;
• shipping address;
• email address;
• telephone number;
• order information;
• products purchased or considered;
• payment-related information processed by our payment providers;
• shipping and fulfillment information; and
• information needed to detect and prevent fraud.

We use this information to process and fulfill orders, arrange payment and shipping, provide order confirmations and customer service, maintain transaction records, detect fraud, and communicate with you regarding your purchase.

Payment card information is processed through our payment and ecommerce service providers. Project Ramen does not need to independently store complete payment-card credentials to operate the storefront.

C. Customer-support and communications information

If you contact us, we may collect the information you provide, including:

• name;
• email address;
• telephone number;
• order information;
• the content of your communication; and
• other information necessary to respond to your request.

We use this information to provide customer support, resolve issues, communicate with you, and maintain appropriate business records.

D. Marketing information

Where permitted, we may collect and use information concerning your marketing preferences and interactions with marketing communications.

You may unsubscribe from marketing communications using the unsubscribe mechanism included in those communications or by contacting us.

3. PROJECT RAMEN PLATFORM ACCOUNTS AND INTERNAL OPERATIONS

Authorized Project Ramen personnel may use Project Ramen's internal content, media, publishing, and operations platform.

For authorized platform users, Project Ramen may process:

• business contact information;
• sign-in and authentication information;
• organization and role assignments;
• authorization and permission information;
• account activity;
• operational records;
• security events; and
• audit and execution history.

We use this information to authenticate authorized users, enforce permissions, secure the platform, operate Project Ramen's internal systems, prevent unauthorized actions, and maintain operational history.

4. CONNECTED SOCIAL AND BUSINESS SERVICES

Authorized Project Ramen operators may connect third-party business services and distribution channels to Project Ramen's internal platform.

These services may include Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, Shopify, and other services that Project Ramen has specifically authorized.

When a service uses OAuth or a similar authorization process, Project Ramen may receive and process information such as:

• permissions or scopes granted to Project Ramen;
• access and refresh credentials;
• credential expiration and revocation information;
• connected business-account information;
• provider account identifiers;
• account display names or usernames;
• selected destinations such as boards or other publishing destinations;
• connection status and health information; and
• provider response and operational metadata.

Provider credentials used by the Project Ramen platform are maintained server-side and protected using security controls including encryption where implemented. They are not intended to be displayed through ordinary Project Ramen application interfaces or included in normal publication and activity records.

Project Ramen uses connected-service information to:

• establish and maintain authorized connections;
• identify the correct Project Ramen business account;
• identify authorized publishing destinations;
• verify connection health;
• prepare authorized Project Ramen content for distribution;
• execute specifically authorized distribution actions;
• verify provider results;
• prevent duplicate or unauthorized operations;
• maintain publication and operational history; and
• protect the security and integrity of Project Ramen systems.

Project Ramen does not use a connection to authorize unrestricted publication merely because a third-party account has been connected. Publication and other provider actions remain subject to Project Ramen's applicable authorization and operational controls.

5. CONNECTED-SERVICE AND PUBLICATION RECORDS

Project Ramen may maintain operational records associated with connected services.

These records may include:

• connection status;
• provider and account identity information;
• authorized destination information;
• authorization status;
• permission or scope metadata;
• publication preparation and execution records;
• publication status;
• provider-result information;
• review and approval records;
• security records; and
• audit history.

We use these records for operational integrity, security, troubleshooting, duplicate prevention, publication verification, and business recordkeeping.

Disconnecting or revoking a connected service terminates or restricts the active authority available to Project Ramen through that connection as applicable. Project Ramen may preserve appropriate non-secret operational and audit history after a connection is terminated when necessary for security, integrity, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.

6. HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may use personal information to:

• provide, operate, and maintain our services;
• offer products for sale;
• process payments and transactions;
• fulfill and ship orders;
• provide customer support;
• communicate with customers;
• operate customer and authorized internal accounts;
• authenticate users;
• protect our systems and users;
• prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activity;
• maintain connected business services;
• perform specifically authorized content and distribution operations;
• maintain operational and audit records;
• analyze and improve our website and services;
• provide marketing and advertising where permitted;
• comply with applicable legal obligations;
• enforce our agreements and policies; and
• protect Project Ramen, our customers, and others.

7. HOW WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may disclose personal information to service providers and other parties when necessary to operate Project Ramen.

These may include:

A. Shopify

We use Shopify to operate our ecommerce storefront and related commerce functionality.

B. Payment, shipping, and fulfillment providers

Information necessary to process payments, ship products, fulfill orders, detect fraud, and provide related services may be processed by the providers supporting those activities.

C. Analytics and advertising providers

We may use analytics and advertising services to understand website usage, measure performance, and conduct advertising or marketing where permitted.

Our existing storefront may use services such as Google Analytics and Shopify advertising or audience functionality when enabled.

D. Connected business-channel providers

When Project Ramen connects a third-party service such as Pinterest, Facebook, or Instagram, information necessary to authenticate, identify accounts and destinations, verify connections, and perform authorized operations may be exchanged with that provider.

Those providers process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

E. Technology and infrastructure providers

Project Ramen uses technology providers to host, secure, operate, and support its systems. This may include infrastructure and artificial-intelligence providers where those services are enabled for authorized Project Ramen functionality.

F. Legal and safety disclosures

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

• comply with applicable laws or regulations;
• respond to lawful legal process;
• protect our rights or property;
• investigate fraud or security incidents;
• enforce our agreements; or
• protect Project Ramen, our customers, users, or others.

8. SHOPIFY

Our online store is powered by Shopify.

Shopify processes information in connection with the operation of our storefront, checkout, customer accounts, payments, fraud prevention, analytics, and other enabled Shopify services.

Shopify's own privacy practices are governed by Shopify's privacy documentation.

9. ANALYTICS, ADVERTISING, AND MARKETING

Project Ramen may use analytics and advertising technologies to understand how visitors use our website, measure the effectiveness of our services and marketing, and provide advertising or marketing communications where permitted.

Depending on the services enabled on our storefront, information concerning your website activity, purchases, device, or interactions may be processed by Shopify and advertising or analytics partners.

Some privacy laws define certain disclosures for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising as "sharing" or, in some circumstances, a "sale" even when money is not exchanged for personal information.

Project Ramen does not sell personal information for money.

Where applicable law provides a right to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing activities, you may exercise the available privacy controls provided through our website or contact us using the information in this policy.

10. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

Project Ramen, Shopify, and other authorized service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website and provide functionality.

These technologies may be used for purposes including:

• storefront functionality;
• shopping-cart and checkout functionality;
• customer authentication;
• security and fraud prevention;
• remembering preferences;
• analytics and performance measurement;
• marketing and advertising; and
• customer privacy preferences.

Some cookies are session cookies and expire when you stop browsing. Others are persistent and remain until they expire or are deleted.

You can control cookies through your browser and, where available, through website privacy controls. Blocking certain cookies may affect the functionality of the website.

Because Shopify and other providers may change the cookies they use over time, their current cookie documentation provides the most current provider-specific information.

11. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND INTERNAL TOOLS

Project Ramen may use artificial-intelligence services for authorized internal content, media, operational, or productivity capabilities.

Where such services are used, Project Ramen limits their use to authorized business functions and applies the operational and access controls implemented for the relevant Project Ramen system.

Project Ramen may use third-party artificial-intelligence infrastructure providers, including OpenAI, for enabled internal capabilities.

We do not represent that every interaction with Project Ramen involves artificial intelligence.

12. RETENTION

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing services, maintaining business and transaction records, protecting our systems, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and satisfying applicable legal obligations.

Different categories of information may be retained for different periods.

When determining an appropriate retention period, we may consider the nature and sensitivity of the information, why it was collected, operational requirements, security and fraud-prevention needs, and applicable legal requirements.

You may request deletion of certain personal information as described in the "Your Privacy Rights" section below. Some information may need to be retained when permitted or required by law or for legitimate operational, security, recordkeeping, or dispute-resolution purposes.

13. SECURITY

Project Ramen uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information under our control.

These measures include access controls and, for certain sensitive platform credentials, server-side encryption and restricted credential handling.

No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING

Project Ramen and its service providers may use automated systems for limited operational purposes such as fraud prevention, security, and risk detection.

Project Ramen does not currently use its internal content and channel-management platform to make decisions about customers that are based solely on automated processing and that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Third-party service providers, including Shopify, may use their own automated systems for fraud prevention and other purposes according to their respective policies.

15. INTERNATIONAL DATA PROCESSING

Project Ramen and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country in which you live.

Where required, applicable safeguards may be used for international transfers of personal information.

Third-party service providers are responsible for the transfer mechanisms applicable to processing performed under their own privacy practices.

16. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information.

These may include the right to:

• request access to personal information;
• request correction of inaccurate information;
• request deletion of information;
• receive certain information in a portable format;
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
• opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing activities where applicable.

These rights are not absolute and may be subject to exceptions under applicable law.

To submit a privacy request, contact us at:

lucho@projectramen.com

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

Where applicable, you may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may require information necessary to verify the authorization and the underlying request.

17. EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA AND UNITED KINGDOM

If applicable European or United Kingdom data-protection law applies to our processing of your personal information, the lawful basis for processing will depend on the particular activity.

Applicable bases may include:

• performance of a contract;
• compliance with legal obligations;
• legitimate interests;
• consent; and
• other lawful bases available under applicable law.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent as permitted by law.

Where applicable, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority responsible for your jurisdiction.

18. UNITED STATES STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights under applicable state law.

Depending on your state and the applicability of the relevant law, these may include rights to:

• know or access certain personal information;
• correct inaccurate personal information;
• delete certain personal information;
• obtain a portable copy of certain information;
• opt out of certain targeted advertising;
• opt out of certain sales or sharing of personal information; and
• appeal certain decisions concerning a privacy request.

You may submit an applicable request using the contact information in this policy.

19. CHILDREN

Project Ramen's services are not directed to children for the purpose of collecting personal information from them.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us in circumstances requiring deletion or other action, please contact us.

20. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

Our website and services may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, platforms, and services.

Project Ramen does not control the privacy practices of independent third parties. Information processed directly by those third parties is subject to their respective privacy policies and terms.

Relevant providers may include Shopify, Pinterest, Meta services such as Facebook and Instagram, Google services, OpenAI, payment and fulfillment providers, and infrastructure providers used to operate Project Ramen.

21. DO NOT TRACK AND PRIVACY SIGNALS

Browser-based privacy signals and legal requirements continue to evolve.

Where applicable law requires Project Ramen or its service providers to recognize a legally valid opt-out preference signal, the signal will be handled in accordance with applicable requirements and the technical capabilities of the relevant storefront and service providers.

Other browser "Do Not Track" signals may not have a uniform industry-standard interpretation.

22. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to our practices, services, technologies, legal requirements, or other operational circumstances.

The "Last updated" date at the top of this policy identifies when this version was last revised.

23. COMPLAINTS

If you have a complaint about our privacy practices, please contact us first using the contact information above.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to an applicable privacy or data-protection authority.
